Freshman Marshall wide receiver Eric Frohnapfel is amped up to play West Virginia in the team's opener after he was disrespected by then offensive coordinator now head coach Dana Holgorsen during a meeting last year.

Frohnapfel committed to West Virginia but when Holgorsen took over the offense he told him he would only play a maximum of 50 percent of the snaps as a tight end. Frohnapfel instantly decommitted and ended up at Marshall. As the Herd need offensive weapons, the motivated Frohnapfel can make a statement right away.
