As the Bulldogs get ready to square off against Boise State, their secondary continues to take hits. The latest is cornerback Branden Smith who injured his foot during practice Thursday. The good news is that head coach Mark Richt says "We don't think it's serious. Nothing that requires surgery. I guess the old ‘day-by-day’ is the best way to describe it."
Smith has really matured as a defender this offseason and is always a big play spark plug on offense so the Dawgs need him to get healthy fast.
