During this morning's Big East Coaches Teleconference, Louisville head coach Charlie Strong had two injury notes to make. Center Mario Benavides (knee) and defensive end B.J. Butler (knee) are the only two players expected to miss the season opener against Murray State due to injury.

Butler also missed time during the spring while dealing with a shoulder injury and wasn't listed on the two-deep, which was likely impacted by his injury status. But the absence of expected starter Benavides, an experienced senior, takes away a good safety blanket for quarterback Will Stein. Louisville should be fine this week, however.
