Thanks to the lingering effects of a sprained knee, Arizona backup quarterback Bryson Beirne is considered doubtful for Saturday's opener.
The idea was the Beirne would back up starter Nick Foles, allowing Matt Scott the chance to redshirt and then be the presumptive starter in 2012. We'll see how this situation plays out, particularly if Foles gets dinged up.
