California running back Isi Sofele will start, but coach Jeff Tedford said that Covaughn DeBoskie-Johnson and C.J. Anderson will get carries as well against Fresno State.
You'd like to think Sofele will get 15 to 18 touches, but Tedford has habitually been a two-running back guy. It seems he's determined to see if he can find "the guy" in the threesome of backs he's been watching this fall. Expect Sofele to be the prime guy, but Tedford will look for the hot hand against the Bulldogs.
