San Diego State's receiving issues continue after Ezell Ruffin was ruled out of Saturday's opener because of academic issues, according to coach Rocky Long. He could miss more time, too.
The Aztecs have been struggling to find consistent receiving this fall and though Ruffin is listed as a backup, he was certainly going to play. The Aztecs haven't found a receiver who can go get the long ball, said Long, who noted that's what quarterback Ryan Lindley does best.
