San Diego State coach Rocky Long said that converted cornerback Colin Lockett is probably the team's best deep threat right now. Lockett will probably start with Dylan Denso and perhaps JC transfer Aldodius Colquitt, who is also very fast.

Long has not been happy with the way his receivers have caught the ball on deep routes, but did say Sunday's live action provided some more positives -- no drops, which had plagued the receiving corps. Right now, Lockett is having the best of it on deep throws.
