New Mexico running back Kasey Carrier is still working through what's being described as a minor knee injury. Right now, he won't play in the Lobos' opener.
With Carrier out, the running back duties will belong to senior James Wright and freshman Crusoe Gongbay. No word yet on how long Carrier is likely out.
