California receivers Kaelin Clay and Maurice Harris will suit up for the season opener. Clay missed three weeks after he had a meniscus procedure done while Harris missed two weeks with a knee bruise. Clay returned Aug. 27 and Harris followed three days later.
Of the two, Clay seems the better bet to get a decent amount of game reps, though Marvin Jones and Keenan Allen will see the bulk of the action. Still, the return of Clay and Harris helps with the team's depth.
