Rutgers freshman running back Savon Huggins wasn't the first back to carry the football- or the second- in Thursday's 48-0 win over North Carolina Central, but he took advantage of his opportunities. Huggins rushed for 32 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries in the win. Jawan Jamison led the Scarlet Knights with 54 yards on 17 carries.
Also seeing action were De'Antwan Williams (he started) and Jeremy Deering. Williams rushed for 44 yards on 11 carries and Deering rushed for nine yards on two carries. The Scarlet Knights are deep at running back, which makes it tough to rely on just one of them as a feature fantasy back.
