ASU's Marshall finds paydirt twice in opener

He didn't get a lot of carries, but Arizona State running back Cameron Marshall made the most of them, scoring the game's first two touchdowns against UC Davis. Marshall had 23 yards on seven carries and a pair of 2-yard touchdowns.

Marshall had his moments, but he seemed more workmanlike than Kyle Middlebrooks. What's most intriguing, however, is that he led the team in receiving with four catches for 82 yards, including a 47-yarder. It will interesting to see how Middlebrooks and Marshall are used and how many touches each gets moving forward.
