Running back Kevin Grooms, a 2011 recruit for the Miami Hurricanes, has been denied admission to the U, and appears to be headed to Marshall.
Grooms was easily the most talented skill player in Miami's class, and was expected to have an immediate impact had he gained admission. While Marshall hasn't been confirmed as his new destination, it seems more than likely. Grooms will redshirt this season, and be ready to make an impact in 2012.
