Connecticut played three quarterbacks in their 35-3 win over Fordham, and while each displayed flashes of what they bring to the table it wasn't an overwhelming debut. Johnny McEntee got the start and finished 8-12 for 113 yards. Scott McCummings was used in a lot of QB runs (7 for 23 yards) and also completed his one pass on the day for a 55-yard score.
Michael Nebrich threw the group's lone interception and completed 3 of 8 passes for 60 yards to go along with 11 yards rushing. At some point the Huskies may need to go down to two quarterbacks; there seemed to be a lack of rhythm in the passing game due to the "musical chairs".
