Morgan is USC's leading rusher in opener

D.J. Morgan got the lion's share of carries for the USC rushing offense Saturday, taking 18 carries for 70 yards against Minnesota. Curtis McNeal got only six carries for 33 yards. Morgan had the most yards, but McNeal averaged nearly a yard-and-a-half more (3.9 to 5.5 ypc).

What we can read into this situation is that Morgan will be the back of choice moving forward, though judging by the paltry rushing totals, the Trojans will probably used multiple backs this season. Still, Morgan was the main gun in the opener.
