Cincinnati wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins is ready for Saturday's matchup with Tennessee, the school he originally committed to out of junior college. But Lane Kiffin left for USC, and as a result Thompkins decided to go to Cincinnati. He had to sit out last season since the Volunteers refused to release him from his letter of intent.
Thompkins scored a touchdown in the win over Austin Peay, and with Tennessee having dismissed their best defensive back (Janzen Jackson) before the start of the season there could be openings. But D.J. Woods will be the top Cincy receiver from a fantasy standpoint.
