San Diego State running back Ronnie Hillman may have had 189 yards rushing in the season opener, but he feels he left a lot of yards out there. Hillman suffered from leg cramps throughout the game and had to come out multiple times. In his stead, Walter Kazee had 15 rushes for 82 yards.
Hillman said he "shouldn't have to leave the game for cramps or anything." Hillman said he felt like he let his team down to a certain extent and said he'll do the things necessary to stay on the field in the future. Hillman is being a bit tough on himself, but it gives you a glimpse into the drive that has made him one of the nation's best.
