This week, there wasn't any question who Texas' lead back was. Freshman Malcolm Brown carried the ball 14 times for 68 yards while Fozzy Whittaker ran for a measly four yards on four carries.
Brown may have emerged as the Longhorns' top back, but he wasn't even the leading fantasy scorer on the ground - that honor belongs to fullback Cody Johnson, who ran for 12 yards and two scores. Still, his impressive week one performance and his solid numbers against BYU are enough reason to look at adding Brown.
