Marc Tyler's return from suspension for USC certainly closed the book on any running back controversy the team may have. Tyler's return resulted in 24 carries for 113 yards and a score in the win over Utah.

There was speculation that Tyler would have a minimal role after coming off suspension, but coach Lane Kiffin apparently decided the running game needed Tyler's juice. D.J. Morgan had eight carries with Curtis McNeal and Dillon Baxter getting the crumbs. It looks like the backfield now belongs to Tyler.
