San Jose State was without starting quarterback Matt Faulkner Saturday in their near upset over UCLA. Faulkner failed a concussion test on Thursday. Dasmen Stewart stepped in as the starter.

It remains to be seen how long Faulkner will be out for and if he will even have a starting job when he comes back even though Stewart wasn't very impressive. Avoid this situation all together for now.
