Oregon State receiver Markus Wheaton sustained bruised ribs during Saturday's loss to Wisconsin and coach Mike Riley said Wheaton will sit during the bye week to heal.
Wheaton has arguably been the team's best receiver over the first two weeks, so getting the ribs healed up seems to make a load of sense for the Beavers.
