Central Michigan running back Zurlon Tipton is now expected to miss "most" of the season after breaking a bone in his foot.
Tim Phillips is second on the team in carries to date, but he goes all of 5-foot-5, 166 pounds. Paris Cotton and redshirt frosh Ben Brown seem better suited as lead backs, so keep an eye out and see if one can establish themselves. Head coach Dan Enos said Tipton could be back for a few games in November.
