In addition to Orwin Smith's stellar afternoon, Georgia Tech A-Backs Roddy Jones and Embry Peeples gashed Kansas. Jones had 124 total yards and two scores, while Peeples carried five times for 110 yards and a score.
Georgia Tech rolled to 604 yards rushing, and seven ground scores. Simply ridiculous. Though far from a sure thing, Jones has now scored three times on 12 touches this season. Things have to slow down for this offense, but as the competition picks up, it will be interesting to see what a starting unit of Jones-Smith and David Sims can do with more touches. Sims scored twice today on nine carries.
