San Jose State quarterback Dasmen Stewart received the start against Nevada, but was benched in the second half for week 1 starter Matt Faulkner (concussion) after starting the game 3 for 14 passing.
Stewart looked extremely uncomfortable throwing the ball. After Faulkner was inserted back into the lineup, he immediately led his team on a very nice touchdown drive and almost won the game in the final minutes. You should avoid both quarterbacks because this offense just isn't good, but it appears Faulkner will be next week's starter.
