Connecticut once again started Johnny McEntee at quarterback on Friday night, and once again the junior struggled. In the 24-20 loss to Iowa State, McEntee completed just 13 of 30 passes for 188 yards and an interception. Scott McCummings rushed for 38 yards and a touchdown to go along with a 39-yard touchdown pass.

None of the Husky quarterbacks are worthy of a fantasy play, but the one-dimensional nature of the offense may be hurting the run game. UConn rushed for just 112 yards (2.7 yards per carry) on Friday night.
