California freshman running back Brendan Bigelow is finding his niche with the team. Bigelow became a kick returner last week and opened everyone's eyes with an 88-yard return for a touchdown and 137 all-purpose yards.
Bigelow was a highly touted recruit who is coming off two knee surgeries, so no one knew what the expect. He's slowly worked himself into shape and according to coach Jeff Tedford will continue to return kicks. It would be foolish to think he doesn't have more in the tank to help the Cal special teams.
