It seems as if Mississippi State's best receiving option is running back Vick Ballard, which, according to head coach Dan Mullen, needs to change. The leading receiver for the Dogs is Jameon Lewis with 116 yards, 113 of which he accrued during garbage time against Memphis.
When teams are able to slow down their potent rushing attack, the Bulldogs and Chris Relf will need to lean on a passing attack. If nobody can surface as a go-to target, they could lose some close ones.
