UCLA running back Johnathan Franklin practiced for the second straight day Wednesday, putting behind him a hip injury that limited him to six carries Saturday. Coach Rick Neuheisel said the Franklin is ready to go.

Franklin will again be the starter, but you have to think that backup Derrick Coleman is going to get some touches, too -- particularly after the way he's played the last two games. Still, Franklin will be the starter and if he gets off to a good start, he could see 20 carries.
