Colorado backup running back Brian Lockridge is moving to the defensive side of the ball. Lockridge asked the coaching staff for the move this week and they agreed. Lockridge played some last year, but hasn't gotten a carry in four games.
Lockridge will play Saturday against Washington State, though coach Jon Embree said the coaching staff would limit what he's thrown into. Lockridge figured to be the prime backup to Rodney Stewart this season, but it hasn't happened for the senior.
