There have been questions this week about the injury status of a few Syracuse football players, one of which being backup running back Prince-Tyson Gulley. In an earlier release of game notes Gulley was listed as out for the season with a broken collarbone. In an updated release he wasn't on the injury list. Gulley did not play against Rutgers.
With Gulley not on the field the Orange have kept Antwon Bailey on the field for practically the entire game. If you own Bailey (124 yards, 1 TD vs. Clemson) this may be good news from a workload standpoint, but will he be more effective as a result? That remains to be seen.
