Connecticut wide receiver Kashif Moore had his best game of the season in Saturday's loss to Western Michigan, catching eight passes for 112 yards and two touchdowns. Moore caught just eight passes in the four games prior to today's.

UConn needs receivers to step up on a consistent basis. Early in the season it was Isiah Moore, and maybe now Kashif Moore is ready to take that next step. But they've got to be consistent and show up on a weekly basis.
