Johnathan Franklin, sore hip apparently better, was the Bruins leading rusher Saturday against Stanford, tallying 96 yards on 12 carries. Fellow back Derrick Coleman had but four totes.

Franklin seems to have solidified his place as the Bruins starting running back. Unfortunately for UCLA, getting behind early sort of forced the offense to lean to the pass and limit Franklin's touches. He was finding some daylight in the Stanford defense.
