New Mexico quarterback B.R. Holbrook used land and air to try and keep the Lobos in the game Saturday. Holbrook threw for 265 yards and a score, while also rushing a team-leading 12 times for 37 yards.
Unfortunately, Holbrook's 300 yards of total offense weren't enough. At least it looked like the Lobos now have an idea of what they're going to do offensively. Holbrook could have a couple of other big games before the season is over, though it looks like a tough rest of the season ahead.
