Virginia Tech defensive tackle Antoine Hopkins tore the ACL in his right knee, and will miss the remainder of the season.

It's a potentially big blow to this solid defensive unit.  Hopkins goes 6-foot-1, 306 pounds and has started 17 of the past 19 games for VT.  The Hokies' will be smaller and inexperienced up the middle, possibly giving Miami's Lamar Miller a few extra holes to run through this weekend.
