Iowa State's freshman running back James White had 15 carries for 148 yards, including a 76-yard touchdown scamper in the Cyclones' loss to Baylor.

There was no sign of usual starter Shontrelle Johnson, who is battling a neck injury, but games like this from White show that the future is bright for Iowa State.
