Louisiana Tech starting running back Lennon Creer suffered an undisclosed injury in the third quarter which allowed walk-on freshman Hunter Lee an opportunity to rack up the carries. He ended the game with 28 carries for 134 yards against Idaho.

It is a fact that head coach Sonny Dykes loves using two running backs in his system. When Ray Holley went down with an injury, the assumption was Creer would be in for more carries. That doesn't appear to be the case now after Lee's workhorse game. Expect both to split the carries for the remainder of the season.
