If there were any doubts of Trent Richardson's Heisman candidacy, he may as well have punched his ticket to New York with his dominant performance over Ole Miss. Richardson carried the ball 17 times for 183 yards and four touchdowns. Backup Jalston Fowler added another 125 yards and two more scores.
Eddie Lacy played sparingly, which opened up the chances for Fowler, but the real star was Richardson who put the game on his shoulders. Richardson is a must start outside of the LSU game and he should do decently well even against them.
