Iowa State announced that running back Shontrelle Johnson, who suffered a neck injury on Oct. 1 against Texas, is expected to miss the rest of the season.

Johnson was the number one guy before his injury, but the emergence of James White (plus the injury to Johnson's neck) will cost him a chance at regaining that spot. Hopefully his rehab goes smoother than expected and he'll be able to return by season's end.
