Ole Miss wide receiver Melvin Harris has been dismissed from the team for reasons not specified by head coach Houston Nutt.
Harris missed last year's Egg Bowl due to a DUI so it appears that he ran into another snag that left Nutt thinking he would be better off not on the team. Harris has not made much of an impact on the field with just two catches on the year.
