Because of the necessity to move Tracy Lampley to more of a running back role, USM is moving Quentin Pierce into more of a slot receiver role.
Pierce is a talented playmaker who had 38 catches for 454 yards and four touchdowns last season. Let Pierce play this weekend before making any roster changes, but he is a name to remember.
