Despite suffering a broken hand last week, San Diego State tight end Gavin Escobar is likely to play in the team's next game Oct. 29 against Wyoming.

The Aztecs, which entered the season with four quality tight ends, have seen Escobar and D.J. Shields (broken foot) suffer breaks. Escobar will wear a special cast that will allow him some flexibility while allowing him to protect the break.
