Duke wide receiver Donovan Varner (undisclosed) is questionable to play Saturday against Wake.
This could help explain Varner's one catch, six yard outing against Florida State. Check back Saturday if you need Varner in ACC circles, as he had a good chance to notch his first score of the season against the Deacs. Tight end Cooper Helfet is getting hot, and would be my guess as the biggest benefactor should Varner sit.
