Colorado freshman running back Malcolm Creer will not redshirt after all. With the injury to starter Rodney Stewart, Creer, a highly touted recruit, had his redshirt lifted and returned the first kickoff for Colorado against Oregon.
The plan is for Creer to get about 15 touches today, but if he can get it rolling, he may see more. He's Colorado's biggest and most powerful back, so he has a chance to establish himself a little in his first game as a collegian.
