USF wide receiver Sterling Griffin led the Bulls in receptions on Saturday, catching eight passes for 73 yards and a touchdown. But he also suffered an ankle injury in the third quarter and was unable to return to the game. Griffin injured the same ankle (right) that he broke last year, forcing him to miss all of 2010.
The Bulls haven't released any news as to what he's done to it, so it remains to be see how long he could be out. The good news for USF is that they've got a bye week, allowing their leading receiver extra time to recover.
