Virginia freshman quarterback David Watford completed just 4 of 16 passes for 89 yards against North Carolina State. He had one touchdown, but was intercepted three times.
Starter Michael Rocco didn't fare much better, finishing 7 of 19 for 36 yards. That's some pretty woeful quarterback play, and the rotation doesn't seem to be working for any party involved. A resurgent Miami defense might be worth considering this Thursday night as the Wahoos head to South Beach.
