After starting 0 for 4 with an interception, Iowa State quarterback Steele Jantz was pulled and backup Jared Barnett came in. Barnett was only 16 of 36 for 180 yards and didn't throw for a score, but he didn't turn it over and led the team in rushing with 66 yards against Texas A&M.
Barnett seems to have the same dual-threat ability as Jantz and put together a pretty decent day, but he didn't help lead the Cyclones to a victory. We're assuming he'll get the start next week at Texas Tech.
