Despite missing two kicks in the loss to Texas Tech last week, Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops still has confidence in kicker Michael Hunnicutt. "I've been very pleased with him,” Stoops said. “Obviously, the other night we needed it to be better. But this was his first time out there (in a pressure situation). Through this whole period of time, I've been pleased. I have confidence he'll make those in the future.”
In related news, Jimmy Stevens (quadriceps) began kicking on Monday, and he will be evaluated later in the week. It is likely that Hunnicutt will get the nod this week against Kansas State, but with Stevens getting healthy, this could get messy for fantasy owners.
