Danny O'Brien shows well for 2nd straight week

Maryland quarterback Danny O'Brien didn't start against Boston College, but again was better than starter C.J. Brown, finishing with 165 yards passing and a touchdown, while adding 50 yards rushing and another score.

He hit only 14 of 35 passes, and was intercepted, but again provided a spark for the Terps.  Brown was just 2 of 6 with a pick, while rushing for 17 yards in the 1st quarter.  As obvious as it was two weeks ago that Brown was the best bet here, it now seems equally obvious that O'Brien should start against Virginia next week.  That probably means head coach Randy Edsall will start freshmen James Joseph or Troy Jones. Unless Edsall names a starter, don't pay these cats much attention.
