Miami (OH) running back Justin Semmes came out of nowhere to run for 100 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries against lowly Akron Thursday night.
Who? Semmes had two carries in the season opener against Missouri, and that's all we've seen of him this year. "Leading" rusher Erik Finklea saw zero carries, and last week's leading rusher, Tyrone Jones, ran just four times for five yards. There couldn't be a more confusing backfield in America...thank goodness the RedHawks only have three games left.
