UCLA quarterback Richard Brehaut has shed the walking boot that was protecting the broken leg suffered in early October. He was at practice this week, but did not participate. He's likely to start getting back into the practice rhythm next week some time.
Despite his return, Brehaut will not reclaim the starting job. Coach Rick Neuheisel said that Kevin Prince will be the team's starter the rest of the way.
