Texas running back Joe Bergeron pounded Texas Tech with 191 yards and three scores on 29 carries. Fozzy Whittaker also got into the mix with 83 yards and two scores on just 10 carries.
Bergeron was the beneficiary of the late scratch to Malcolm Brown (turf toe). With Brown's status unknown, Bergeron and Whittaker could be the lead horses again next week against Missouri.
